Publishers Weekly had some issues with The Job of the Wasp, as well as some nice things to say, calling it, "commendable for its experimentation" and saying its "oddness evokes Robert Walser’s Jakob von Gunten and Ferdydurke by Witold Gombrowicz." The final verdict? "This is a worthwhile novel for readers of the dark and twisted, who will find both in spades."
Thanks, PW.
